圣路易现代中文学校成立27年来始终致力于弘扬中华文化、推广中文教育，为社区的孩子们提供一个学习语言、了解文化、增进自信
的平台。一路走来，中文学校的发展壮大离不开每一位支持者的帮助与支持。
在过去的一年里，在全体师生，义工志愿者和社会各界的共同努力下，学校在以下方面做了很多实事：
设施升级：完成了校内WIFI系统的升级，电梯的维修，和空调系统的完善，进一步整合校园资源。
文化活动：主办中秋演唱会、春节庙会，参与“中华日”活动；举办了丰富多彩的校内外活动，深入社区，促进多元文化交流。
教育服务：举办多场公益讲座，加强学生与家长的综合学习体验；接待并承办芝加哥领事馆来圣路易办理签证和护照服务，为社区提供了
便捷服务；引入汉语水平考试机制，丰富汉语教学测评体系；大力拓展中文和才艺课程，提高学校综合教学水平和层次；重视学生义工服
务，为47多位志愿者申请总统义工奖。积极组建小记者团，读书会等义工团体，为学生和家长提供更多贡献社区的志愿机会。
团队建设：新成立了IT运维团队和资金运营团队，同时扩充现有管理团队，加强了学校的管理和运营能力。
在各方面开拓创新的同时，由于近年大楼维护和保险等运营成本明显上涨，学校财政仍然面临严峻的挑战。通过去年的募捐，学校共筹
集资金$15,000美元，这些善款主要用于电梯升级和维护。我们希望在新的一年延续既往成绩，进一步改善学校设施和资源，为师生提供
更优质的教学环境和更舒适的活动场所；提升教师待遇，提高教学水平，开拓更多，更新，更精彩的课程；持续推动中华文化的传承和多
元交流，丰富社区生活；克服不断增长的保险，维护等运营成本，继续为社区提供优质服务。为确保学校的可持续发展，我们迫切需要社
会各界的支持。值此感恩节到来之际，我们心怀感恩并真诚地向您发出募捐倡议，邀请您继续为学校的发展蓄力赋能！

Dear SLMCS Families and Friends:
With the Thanksgiving and holiday season approaching, it’s time to reflect with gratitude on the blessings and bounty that we have received.
During the last school year, thanks to the concerted efforts of our teachers, students, and community partners, the school has achieved significant
progress in various areas over the past year: We upgraded the campus Wi-Fi system, repaired and improved the elevator, enhanced the HVAC
system, creating a more comfortable learning environment. We successfully organized community events, such as the Mid-Autumn Festival Concert
and the Chinese New Year Fair, participated in “Chinese Culture Day” and hosted numerous community-based cultural events to foster
multicultural exchanges. We hosted several free community seminars to enhance learning experiences for students and parents alike. We
introduced the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK), enriching the evaluation system for Chinese language learning. We promoted volunteerism among
students by providing meaningful opportunities for students and families to contribute to the community.
Despite these achievements, the school continues to face financial challenges due to rising operational costs. While last year’s annual fundraising
campaign raised $15,000, which was used primarily for elevator upgrades and maintenance, more support is urgently needed to ensure the
school’s continued operation and sustainable development.

Your kind donation will enable us to enhance facilities and resources by providing students and teachers with a superior learning and teaching
environment; to provide competitive compensation to our teachers and offer quality classes, courses and programs; to continue to promote
Chinese cultural heritage and foster cross-cultural exchanges; and to bridge the operational deficit due to the rising costs for insurance,
maintenance, and other critical needs, ensuring that the school remains a vibrant part of the community.
